This unit requires 8 size AA  ALKALINE  batteries

Remove the 2 screws that hold the bottom on the unit.

Install batteries and place the battery holder as shown in photo.

Push the red pulse button on the unit. You should see the green light lit. If it
does not light, check to make sure batteries are installed properly or that they are fresh.

Place battery pack as shown on top of the piece of foam inside, replace the cover and the 2 screws.

Make sure no wires are getting pinched or caught in the edges of the unit.
